Teach kite. Live Cabarete.
We're hiring IKO-certified instructors who care more about student progress than logging hours. If that's you, keep reading.
Why instructors choose us
Three reasons our crew sticks around. Yes, the wind is one of them — but it's not the main one.
Fair pay, transparent split
Industry-leading commission. You see the numbers before you start. No fuzzy math at the end of the month.
A real life, not a grind
Two students per instructor max. You're coaching, not herding. Mornings free for your own riding.
An actual team
Multinational crew, English/Spanish/French/German on the beach every day. Beach lunches, downwinders together, instructor sessions when the wind's right.
What we look for
Two lists. The first is the minimum bar. The second is what makes us call back fast.
Required
- IKO Level 2 minimum (Level 3 strongly preferred)
- Current first aid + CPR certification
- Conversational English — Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, or Russian a plus
- At least one full season of teaching experience
- Clean DR work visa, or eligibility to obtain one (we help with paperwork for the right person)
What sets candidates apart
- You've taught beginners through Level 3 independently
- You can demo what you teach — strapless, foil, unhooked, jumps
- You read the wind and adjust the lesson without being told
- You give honest feedback without making students feel bad
- You don't disappear when the wind drops — theory, video review, gear check, you find the work
